INVITATION FOR BIDS

BID INVITATION FOR THE SUPPLY, INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING OF VHF AIR GROUND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AT RADAR & COMMUNICATION CENTRE, PIDURUTALAGALA.

PROCUREMENT NO. : 066/T/2022

Bids are invited by the Chairman, Airport & Aviation Services (SL) (Pvt) Ltd. for the Supply, Installation & Commissioning of VHF Air Ground Communication System at Radar & Communication Centre, Pidurutalagala.

Bids should be submitted on Documents obtainable from the Supply Chain Management Division, Airport & Aviation Services (SL) (Pvt) Ltd., Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake on a cash payment of Rupees Twenty Thousand (Rs. 20,000.00) being a non-refundable Bidding Document Fee, together with an official letter of request, issued by the Bidder, or downloaded from website at www.airport.lk  by making the non-refundable bidding fee payment online (USD 50.00).

Bidding Documents may be purchased between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on any working day from 06.02.2024 up to 26.03.2024 from the Office of Supply Chain Management Division, Airport & Aviation Services (SL) (Pvt) Ltd., Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake. The Bidding Documents will be available for inspection free of charge at the above address.

Bids should be deposited in the box provided for this purpose at Supply Chain Management Division, Airport & Aviation Services (SL) (Pvt) Ltd., Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake.  If bidders are so desire, they may personally hand over the sealed bids to above address.

Bids will be closed at 2.00 p.m. on Wednesday the 27th March 2024 and will be opened immediately thereafter at the Supply Chain Management Division, Airport & Aviation Services (SL) (Pvt) Ltd., Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake. Bidders or their duly authorized representatives may be present at the time of opening of Bids.  

An on demand Bid Guarantee equivalent to Rupees Two Million and Seven Hundred Thousand (Rs.2,700,000.00)  in the form of a Bank Guarantee issued by a Bank approved by the Central Bank and operating in Sri Lanka and payable to Chairman, Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited should be submitted with the bid.

A Pre Bid Meeting will be held at 10.00 a.m on 20.02.2024 at the Radar & Communication Centre, Pidurutalagala, Nuwaraeliya. The bidder or his representative is requested to attend (a maximum of three (03) personnel) and their details (Name/NIC/Vehicle No.) should be forwarded seven (07) days before the date of the Pre Bid meeting.
